A collection of inspirations called to mind

WATER, FOG OR STEAM?: Another atmospheric, seaside/coastline landscape. Yes, I know that I have posted far too many of them and that you are all getting bored out of your minds, but bear with me, we are approaching summer and I need some kind of visual escape from the mundanities of my everyday work life. I have no idea as to where this image was shot, but I really like the use of blue here. The sky is still beaming a turquoise colour for the most part, no doubt signalling an imminent sunrise. Closer in, you can see rocks, covered in the sea’s water. The water that sits in between these rocky surfaces is a really light colour, to the point where it looks as if it is fog (or even some sort of steam) sifting onto shore, as opposed to water from the sea. This image takes my mind to another location, which is the primary function of pictures like this, so even if you may find it boring, it fulfilled its visual obligations to me here.
