WHAT YOU SEE IN BUDAPEST: So I had another stop over in Budapest this last week, and this time I decided to venture even further into the city, despite the fact that I only had one hour’s transit time before I had to catch the night train to Belgrade. To tell the truth, I don’t think that I have had nearly enough time in the city and still need to see a lot more. On Wednesday evening however, I did manage to locate this church, St. Anne’s Church. It was about 9:30PM and I could hear some guys shouting in the church yard (presumably drunk), yet there was still a quietness about the church’s stoic presence. I grabbed a few half decent snaps on my phone before heading off to McDonalds. If and when I return though, I hope to see it in the light, as in this image that features a side view of the building’s turrets in a peach coloured sky. Whilst my view was less idyllic than this one, it was still intriguing, presenting a polar opposite in terms of day and appearance to what you see her.
